Some Things Don't Wash Out is You Me And Everyone We Know's much anticipated debut album and debut release on Doghouse Records. It's the same You Me and Everyone We Know we've all grown to love - just in a longer, eleven track form. The opening track, "Shock and Awe" is sure to be a favorite. As clearly stated in the lyrics, it's a little "fuck you" to everyone who's ever wronged YMAEWK. Not only do the lyrics kick ass, but the song as a whole makes you want throw those two special fingers up. "Bootstraps" is a song we've all heard. And if you haven't, it’s just an anthem for all of you Positive Pattys out there. "James Brown Is Dead" is one of the weaker songs on the album. Nothing really stands out about it besides the annoying chorus. Thankfully the following tracks, "The Next 20 Minutes" and "Moon, Roll Me Away" make up for that. "The Next 20 Minutes" is a song that no girl wants to hear, but it's so infectious you can't help but keep listening. "Moon, Roll Me Away" is the perfect closing track. Complete with saccharin vocals, everything about it is perfect. In whole, this album isn't half bad but it's nothing blue-ribbon worthy.
