This is unlike anything you've ever heard. To put it simply, this shit is INTENSE. I'm only on track one, and I don't think I can handle 13 tracks of this. Honestly half the time you don't even know what's going on, voices coming out of any speaker you happen to have.
"First One on the Blog" is such a good time. It's refreshing to hear a song about something other than a girl, and it's still so crazy and random. "Stay Pretty" has a sing-along under vocals, over electronic beats, in combination with swift tempo changes, and occasionally screaming "BREAK." Obviously, it's still completely crazy.
With "War,” I don't think I've ever heard so much energy in a ballad before. It baffles me how boys can write such deep meaningful songs about Legend of Zelda, but "Zelda" is an amazing song and one of the cutest love songs I've heard in a long time.
"Darling Darlene" has such a memorable riff. It's in a minor key and quite nautical. Initially in "Fed to the Fire”, the piano is so random and out of place, then all of sudden it meshes so perfectly with the rest of the song.
The CD should have ended on a happier note, but all in all this album is a big ball of energy in music form: silly and spontaneous. It leaves you feeling exhausted. "Isn't This Supposed To Be Fun?" is exactly what you'd imagine a CD with that title and album art to sound like.
