Strong openings are important in catching the attention of listeners. The Future Is Me definitely have that going for them on their debut EP, Return To Earth Again.
Vocalist Paul Kelley has a commanding voice and his strong vocals on the opening track, "Calm," are phenomenal. At only 1:26 long, "Calm" is a perfect opening track, full of power and energy.
"Heresy In An Age Of Reason" has screaming vocals and is full of raw emotions. The chorus of "These Earthen Bodies," "darling, we're falling down this path to disaster" shows emotion and power. To end the EP, "Lines" has slower music but the same strong vocals shown throughout.
Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, The Future Is Me have been playing many shows in NC and their future is looking bright; they put out a wonderful debut EP and I cannot wait to see what comes next for them. There is nothing negative to say about The Future Is Me.
