You're all going to dinner tonight with her. You've got something to look forward to tonight. Dammit, you're only on the second band.

It's going to be a long night.

You finally go to unpack yout things, smile on your face. Your band knows all about Shelly. You barely hear the jokes.

"Safe in here from all those stupid questions"

"Hey dude!" you say to one of the boys in the second to last band. He doesn't even acknowledge you. "Whatever," you say to yourself. As you walk back inside you see Tabitha watching the second band all by herself. Now you know how it feels...

Before you even get a chance to go back and talk to her you see Shelly. Even in this light she looks beautiful. To your horror, you see Nick walk over. You don't stand a chance.

"You never wanted the nice boys anyway"

You stare for a while hoping to catch her eye, as she giggles and smiles. It's no use, and you walk to your merch table with a defeated face. You have a clear shot of them from here.

Kicking yourself because you should have known better than to bring her here, band boys can't stay away from a new girl with a cute face. Maybe she's too good to fall for his lines. Not everyone is in love with the rock star.

Your luck's not so good, as you watch her walk out the door. Nick's arm is draped over her shoulder giving that cocky ass smile. What makes it worse is everyone else can see too, and Shelly didn't even bother to glance at you.

"What's a crush to do when he can't get through?"

This is CHARM CITY and you better stake your claim.
